This a brass under-battery weight for our pan car platform, first seen on the 4.8 launched in September 2024. The plate is only .050" thick and weighs 2 ounces. This is a very clean and low-profile solution to place weight under the battery in classes where weight is desired further toward the center of the car (compared to the left side weight rail). Strength of the chassis is kept intact by not pocketing the carbon fiber.

NOTE: Not compatible with the 4.8NFT, as the battery fastens differently and the 4.8NFT features the inner weight rail to hold 2 ounces worth of ballast.
